Jeremiah Stover (b. Abt. 1745, d. Abt. 1807)Jeremiah Stover (son of Abraham Stover and Sarah Unknown) was born Abt. 1745 in Botetourt County, Virginia, and died Abt. 1807 in Hunting Creek, Wilkes Co. NC. He married Mary C Jewell on 1769 in Va. Notes for Jeremiah Stover:JEREMIAH STOVER WILL NOVEMBER 26, 1807 In the name of God, amen this is my last will and testament. I Jeremiah Stover Senr. will, give, & bequiath to my sons Jeremiah Stover and John Stover but if I have not divided my land as I thought I had in the deed, that the land be divided equal between them my sons above named. I devise the red stear to Jeremiah Stover, and the black stear to my son John Stover, the black cow & calf to my son Jeremiah Stover, the white cow & calf to my son John Stover. Likewise ten head of hogs be divided between my two sons John & Jeremiah Stover, equal divided. Likewise ___ equal divide all the pots I own & silver & beds & household firniture between my sons Jeremiah & John Stover, likewise thirteen (Mobby?) Stands, & all his corn & his ____ _____ & farmers tools, & all the wheat & rye equal between my two sons Jeremiah & John Stover. Likewise a entry of land lying on the waters of Hunting Creek, joining the other (plat/plot??) equal to my two sons John & Jeremiah Stover, all is left in the hands of executors to divide asequal as the can to the bestof their judgement.
