RENEAU, W. R., 74, passed away Friday, 4 p.m. at his home east of Dandridge. He was a prominent farmer in Jefferson County his lifetime. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Ida Denton Reneau; five daughters, Mrs. John Fain, Dandridge; Mrs. Jake Carmichael, Dandridge; Mrs. Ralph Slaton, Bristol; Mrs. Ralph Maples, Knoxville; Miss Dixie Lee Reneau, at home; six sons, Stanley, Sevierville; Luther, Elmer, Willie M., Clare and C. E. Reneau, all of Dandridge; sister, Mrs. Addie Maynard, Dandridge. Funeral, Sunday, 2:30 p.m., from Shady Grove Methodist Church, Rev. George Hinchey officiating, assisted by Rev. W. M. Bull and Rev. E. R. Lewis, Interment church cemetery. Farrar's, Dandridge, in charge.
