Angela (Zannino) Krosmico, 88, of Hummelstown, PA, formerly of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on March 31, 2013 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 2, 1924 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena (Maiocco) Zannino.
Angela was employed by both Minard's & the Clique Club restaurants where she was a waitress. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church and a former member of All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport, WV.
Mrs. Krosmico is survived by; three daughters, Philomena Krosmico of Hummelstown, PA; Maureen (William) Sparvieri of Etters, PA; and Mary Ann (Jay) McBee of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Brian Sparveri; Kelly (T.J.) Andrisano, Jacob & Jordan McBee, great-granddaughter, Gemma Andrisano, and many loving nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brownie M. Krosmico; an infant son, Martin; sisters, Lucy, Polly & Lizzie; brothers, Albert, Peppy & Chutzy.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 10: 00 - 12:00 noon in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 422 & Lucy Ave, Hershey. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. There will also be another mass celebrated in her former church at a later date. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Clarksburg, WV.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to either St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church or Compassionate Care Hospice, 1531 Cedar Cliff Drive Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
A special thank you to her loving care givers, Sara O'Donnell, Linda Jones, Stephanie Schies & and Darlene Athorn for their ongoing love, care and support; Donna Gerace, Marcie Smith, Stella Shreves, and Karen, Frank and Elizabeth Renzelli for being here with us during her last days; Father Michael Rothan and Father Brian Wayne for the numerous visits and blessings; Glenda Bixler for bringing weekly communion to our home; Jennifer, Mary and other Compassionate Care Hospice staff; Dr. Goldenberg, Dr. Ballentine and their staffs for their excellent and genuine care; and all the family and friends who have been there with prayers, cards, visits, food and calls.
Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Hershey, is handling the arrangements.
