DAVENPORT - Christine Lynch, of Davenport, died Friday, June 15, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, after a short battle with cancer. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Club MoKan, 4227 W. Kimberly Road in Davenport, where Abbas Caldron, Peoria, Ill., will conduct a Caldron service at 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Club MoKan, with Lonnie Conger officiating. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mohassan Caldron or to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Heesch Funeral Home, LeClaire, Iowa, is assisting the family. She was born in Georgetown, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Shaw. Chris married Robert Lynch November 2, 1963, in Davenport. After graduation from high school, Chris was employed at Scott Air Force Base, the Rock Island Arsenal, and Jefferson School. She loved her duties and membership in Mohassan Caldron and had risen to the rank of Past Supreme Mighty Chosen One of the Supreme Caldron, Daughters of Mokanna in 1994. She is survived by her husband, Robert; a brother, Harold (Carol) Shaw, of Waterloo, Ill.; a sister in law, Gini Shaw, of Peoria, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and her daughter, Tina.
