Paul Stinson, 73, of Del Rio, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, August 30, 2002. Mr. Stinson was a Baptist by faith and was the manager of Hillbilly's Music Barn and a veteran of the US Army.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Isham and Jessie (Grigsby) Stinson; 2 brothers and 2 sisters also preceded in death, Etolia Center and Lucy Self, Cecil Stinson and Jeter Stinson.

Mr. Stinson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Carolyn Stinson, of Florida; sisters, Etta M. Gibbs, of Newport, Aletha Roberts, of South Carolina, and Ester Ann and Leon Brown, of Greenville; brother, Hurley Stinson, of PA; grandchildren, Tish Stinson, of KY; great-grandchildren, Page Stinson and Megan Finchum; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends; special friends, Mary and Olin Yates, of Del Rio.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 2, 2002, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Mulberry Gap Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Haney will officiate. D.A.V. Post 102 will perform military service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to D.A.V. P.O. Box 67, Newport, TN 37822.

Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make final arrangements for Mr. Paul Stinson.
