Columbia Cross Roads, PA: Edward C. "Mike" Jenkins, Age 99, of 406 Wolcott Road, Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 2, 2011. He was born June 11, 1912 in Springfield Township, PA son of the late Asa & Mary (Robertson) Jenkins. He and the late Dorothy E. (Baldwin) Jenkins were united in marriage on August 24, 1933 and celebrated 67 years together. Mike worked on the farm and later for Springfield Township Highway Department. He retired from PENDOT in 1978. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 6 to 9 PM at the Vickery Funeral Home Inc, 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA and again on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 10 to 11 AM. Mike's funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours 11 AM, Wednesday with Jody Kenyon of the Leona United Methodist Church officiating.
