REUBEN W. PARKS
CALDWELL–Reuben W. Parks, 69, of Tucson, Ariz., a former Noble County game protector, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (April 6) in Tucson after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was born Sept. 7, 1895, in Sharon Township, Noble County son of Malcolm and Salina Spears Parks. He spent most of his life in Noble County.
He served 25 years as game protector for Noble County. Mr. Parks was a veteran of World War I.
He was a member of American Legion Post 252 of Caldwell and Noble Lodge 459 F & AM of Caldwell.
Surviving are his widow, Ella Lloyd Parks of Tucson; a son, Malcolm Parks of Caldwell; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McVay Funeral Home here with Rev. DeForest Winner officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery.
Masonic rites will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and military rites will be held at the grave by American Legion Post 252 and Caldwell VFW. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
