Cartoonist. He was creator of "Anteojito" magazine, where besides containing school supplies, he included his famous cartoons. He founded "Producciones García Ferré" where created the celebrated cartoon characters "Pi-Pio," "Anteojito," "Antifaz," "Hijitus," "Larguirucho," "El Profesor Neurus," "Oaky," "La bruja Cachavacha," "Petete," "Calculín," and many others that were included in several of his animated feature films: "Trapito," "Mil intentos y un Invento," "Ico: el caballito valiente," "Pantriste: Corazón," "Las alegrías de Pantriste," and "Manuelita." In 1967 he premiered in Argentine television the cartoon series "Hijitus" which aired until 1974 and was the first cartoon series inArgentina and a great success in Latin America. Throughout his career he received several national and international awards. In 2003 he was appointed Illustrious Citizen of Buenos Aires City.
