Cartoonist. He was creator of "Anteojito" magazine, where besides containing school supplies, he included his famous cartoons. He founded "Producciones García Ferré" where created the celebrated cartoon characters "Pi-Pio", "Anteojito", "Antifaz", "Hijitus", "Larguirucho", "El Profesor Neurus", "Oaky", "La bruja Cachavacha", "Petete", "Calculín" and many others that were included in several of his animated feature films: "Trapito", "Mil intentos y un Invento", "Ico: el caballito valiente", "Pantriste: Corazón", "Las alegrías de Pantriste" and "Manuelita". In 1967 he premiered in Argentine television the cartoon series "Hijitus" which aired until 1974 and was the first cartoon series inArgentina and a great success in Latin America. Throughout his career he received several national and international awards. In 2003 he was appointed Illustrious Citizen of Buenos Aires City.

Cause of death: heart failure after heart surgery.
