EFFENBERGER DIES RESULT OF ACCIDENT

F. J. Effenberger, 4103 Izard street, died early last night as the result of an elevator accident in the Omaha National bank building, Seventeenth and Farnam streets, at 2:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He is survived by a widow and four children, the oldest of whom is 9 years and the youngest 15 months.

Effenberger is a salesman. He was leaving the elevator to step onto the fifth floor when the car suddenly started, wedging him in between the elevator and the sixth floor. He suffered a fractured leg, several broken ribs and internal injuries. He was hurried to a hospital, where he died a few hours later. A girl was operating the elevator.
