SHORT ILLNESS PROVES FATAL
Mrs. A.E. Lisher, 75, Wife of Local Attorney, Dies at Home
Mrs. Judith B. Lisher, seventy-five, wife of A. E. Lisher, widely known Shelbyville attorney, died at 3 o'clock Monday morning at her home at 29 West Mechanic Street. Mrs. Lisher had been seriously ill since Wednesday. Death was caused by leukemia.
Born in Marion township, the daughter of Leason and Minerva (Nigh) Bass, she had spent her entire life in Shelbyville and Shelby county. She was a member of the First Christian church of this city.
On September 28, 1884, she was married to Mr. Lisher, who survives with Mrs. Clyde (Hazel) Spurlin, one of two children born to the union. Another child died in infancy.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Charles M. Ewing Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
