George Carr Reilly was working as an electrical engineer in Derry when he met and married Jean Grier from Aughnish, County Donegal.
By 1911 their first son was born and George was the District Inspector for the National Telephone Company. After returning to his father's hometown of Belfast, a second son Max was born in 1914.
Sadly wife Jean died in 1920, age 31. There is no record of a remarriage. We believe his parents helped raise the two boys.
In 1953 George is listed as a retired electrical engineer living in Ballymaconaghy, County Down. He passed away in the Moyle Hospital, Larne, County Antrim.
