Blair Pilot 1 Feb 1928

On Sunday at about ten minutes after 12 o'clock, Mr. Hans Rasmussen, who has been at the Home for a little over a year, departed this life. For some time he has been a great sufferer, being troubled with his heart and with asthma.

He came to the Home from Lynch, Neb. and was respected by all here in the Home. I believe he had a homestead in Holt county, but afterwards sold it, spending some time in California. Later he returned to his old home and became possessed of some town property which he turned over to the Home when he came here to help take care of him.

While he was up and around he always tried to make himself useful, and was very handy in garden work. The funeral services were held in the chapel Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Carl G. Bader, assisted by Supt. W. H. Underwood. Burial was in the Blair cemetery.
