Albert J. Miller, 86, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Attica Long Term Care in Attica, Kansas. He was born October 29, 1926 in Stauss, Kansas the son of Albert Pearl and Edna Frances (Bigham) Miller. He worked for the Electric Company for 27 years, retiring from Aquilla in 1988.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, KS.

He was a US Veteran, having served in the Army during World War II.

On June 20, 1948 he married Arlene Rexwinkle at Oswego, KS. She survives.

Other survivors include a son Keith (Diana) Miller, Medicine Lodge, KS; a daughter Beverly (William) Grebel, Halstead, KS; a brother Arthur Miller, Tacoma, WA; 7 Grandchildren, 1 Step-Grandchild, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Larry and Ronald, and three sisters, Frances, Getman, Alma Crews, and Faye Vathauer.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, KS. Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013 in the Edna Cemetery in Edna,KS with Military Honors provided by Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or Attica Long Term Care in care of the funeral home.
