McGILL, MARGIE – AGE 74, of Knoxville, passed away 7:10 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. McGill; mother and step-father, Sarah Boling and James Boling (Pop); father, Ernest Roberts; sons, Stephen and Jeffrey McGill; and sister, Joyce.
Survivors: daughters, Kay Beard (Kerry) of Knoxville, Cynthia Pack (Gary) of Woodstock, GA, Angela Smith of Powell, and Amy Goforth (Carl) of Knoxville; son, Michael McGill of Knoxville; grandchildren, Stephen, Jr., Brandi, Christy, Shannon, Shane, Nicholas, Stephanie, Lyndsi, Jonathan, Trevor, Michael, and Megan; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret White of Knoxville.
A funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Chapel with Reverend Jim Connatser and Trevor McGill officiating.
The family and friends will meet 2:45 p.m. Monday at Bookwalter Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 3:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Nick Thomas, Jonathan McGill, Gary Pack, Kerry Beard, Carl Goforth, Gerald Thomas, Steve Gaby, and Charlie Cooper.
