Raymond graduated from Gadsden High School "Class of 1951". He also graduated from Weapons Cource for Allied Officers, USA in 1975. Then graduated from Sqadron Officers School on 7 April 1977 as Grade Captain USAF.
He searved 33 years in the Boy Scouts and 30 years in the Civil Defence, also served 33 years in the Civil Air Patrol, Rank of Major. Retired 31 Dec 1980

Raymond Clark Anderson, 75, Gadsden, Ala, was a lifelong resident of Gadsden; a member of Gadsden First Baptist Church. He was employed by the State of Alabama as an EAI, EAII, EAIII as inspector 28 years. Mr. Anderson was the author of the Linch v. Baxley decree handed down by the U.S. District Court in Montgomery Dec. 14, 1974, that became the law of the United States Dec. 14, 1977, and was upheld three times by the US Supreme Court. Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Brooks Anderson; mother, Nannie Williams Anderson; wife, Sarah Hill Anderson.
