Christine Sylvia Rolfe, 90 years old, passed away peacefully in Richfield on March 23, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Fruita, Colorado on April 27, 1922 to Joseph Manuel and Gomecinda Lucero Abeyta.  She graduated from Park City High School. Christine married William Clyde Rolfe on June 14, 1941 in Park City and was later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple in 1967. They later moved to California where they raised their children. She and her husband moved to Richfield in 1983 where they enjoyed their retirement. He preceded her in death April 1, 2005.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved her family and her church. She served as Relief Society president in the Richfield 4th Ward for two years. Christine and her husband served two full-time missions: Roanoke, Virginia, and Cove Fort. Christine also enjoyed working as a volunteer in her retirement as a Pink Lady at Sevier Valley Medical Center for three years.

Christine is survived by: daughter, Jeannie Rolfe, Richfield; son, James D. (Margaret) Rolfe, Newbury Park, CA; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Rolfe, San Marco, CA. She has left a rich legacy of 16 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

Also preceded in death by: parents; son, Daniel Abeyta Rolfe; 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 5th Ward, 800 North 500 East. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, Richfield and Saturday at the ward chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Park City Cemetery in Park City. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
