On January 25, 1946 she married Jesse Victor Smith at Leoti, Kansas. He passed away on February 17, 2009 ay Hays, Kansas.

Clint Smith- Pratt, Kansas
Her parents, two brothers, Eugene Lewis, Sr. and Neil Lewis and three sisters, Freda Shafer, Rena Woods and Vera Lipus precede her in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Paul McNall officiating.
Burial will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Washington- Ames House Foundation or the Wichita County Health Center in care of the funeral home
Friends may call from noon until 8:00 pm Monday and from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
