Jesse and brother Major James Morrison are in my line.
Jesse Morrison (1786-1875) married Eleanor Saucier (c 1788-1856) who was born Eleanor Le FEVRE, daughter of Charles Le FEVRE (1755-1790) and Francoise NICOLLE (les Bois) (born 1761). Eleanor (c 1788-1856) and her sister Emelie (1782-1831) were adopted by Francoise's second husband, Francois SAUCIER (1743-1821), married 1793. (Eleanor and Emelie married twins Jesse and James Morrison, respectively.)
These families have complicated ancestry. I found wonderful source material in Quebec, Genealogical Dictionary of Canadian Families, Vol 6, pages 147-148 which states the parents of Francoise NICOLE (Les Bois): Etienne NICOLE (les Bois) & Marie Angelique (Guyard/Giard). I have not be able (yet) to track down Marie Angelique Guyard's parents or even confirm whether this was her maiden name; perhaps she had married before?
