He was born in Colorado City on Dec. 10, 1928. He moved to Lubbock in 1942 and married Delores Christine Regdon in 1955.
He retired as a truck driver in 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Robb of Lubbock; a son, Rick Crawford of Lubbock; a sister, Toni Harbor of Abilene; a brother, Ray Crawford of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
