Jacob Frank Williams, 2, left us unexpectedly on April 19, 2012.
He was born July 19, 2009, to Brooke Williams, of Allakaket, and Frank Ambrose, of Kaltag.
During his short time with us, we enjoyed his playful humor, mischievous smile, and his infectious laugh caught the eye and ear of whomever he came in contact with.
He was inclined to take things apart and loved to learn how things came together. He'd take things apart just as fast as it took to put it back together. Things like toys, a door hinge and a vacuum, anything he found that he could take apart. He liked it when his big sister fixed his hair into a mohawk and would wink to get the girls'/ladies' attention.
When he walked, he always walked on the tips of his toes (if he walked ... he loved to run). His favorite things to play with were dinosaurs, monkeys and tools. He loved it when his uncle Mike packed him around; he wouldn't let uncle put him down.
His favorite songs were, "We Are Young" by Fun, and "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson. He loved to sing and dance. He was always willing to help his mommy with any task that she was doing.
The tragedy of his passing has affected everyone of all ages throughout Alaska. We are thankful to God for blessing us with his presence and for the short time that he was here with us.
He is survived by his parents, Brooke Williams, of Allakaket, and Frank Ambrose, of Kaltag; his sister Tatiana; and his brother Daniel.
On the maternal side of his family he is survived by grandparents, Andy Simon Sr. and Hilda Williams, Sam John, Valerie and Ben Bergman and their children Aaron and Tiffany; George and Rebecca Linus and their children, Roland, Rhea, Mary Sue and her son, Tristan; aunts and uncles, Joseph "Joey" Williams III and his children, Brandon, Dorothy, Joseph IV and Jan; Andy "Banjo" Simon Jr.; Geri Simon her son Keel; Joy Simon and her son, William; Barbara Simon; Sylvia and Clinton Bergman and their children, Ariella, Nicole, and Joy; Raquel Williams and Chris Moses and their children, Jaden and Summer; Jeremy Edwards and friend, Tannya Williams, Derek "Benny" Williams, Veronica Bergman, Levi Williams, and Sidaadza Williams; and Charles and Charlene Ned and son, Simon.
