FALL IS FATAL TO WOMAN, 71
Rites at Columbus For Mrs Eddelman
Funeral rites for Mrs Minnie C. Eddelman, 71, widow of Frank Eddelman, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Hathaway funeral home at Columbus. Dr. T.K. Smith, pastor of the Columbus Christian church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Garland Brook cemetery at Columbus.
Mrs Eddelman fell downstairs at her home at Columbus some time Tuesday and died from a fractured skull. Her body was discovered about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday by her daughters, Mrs. Ralph Talkington and Mrs. John Elliott, of Columbus.
Mrs Eddelman was born Aug 23, 1877, in Bartholomew county, the daughter of James William and Catherine Talkington Carson.
LIVED AT GRAMMER
She and Mr Eddelman lived for many years near Grammer, where Mr Eddelman was a widely known auctioneer and manager of the grain elevator. She was a member of the Burnsville Christian church.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Elliott, Mrs. Talkington and Mrs. John McCoy, Elizabethtown route 1; a brother, LeRoy Carson, Madison; a sister, Mrs. George Wasson, North Vernon; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren. A daughter, Ruth, died several years ago.
