Mrs Ethel Lottie McCafferty, 76, route 5 Bryan, died early Saturday in the Parkview Nursing Home, Edgerton, where she had been a patient the past year. She was the widow of Clinton, E. McCafferty, who died in 1958.
Mrs. McCafferty was born March 29, 1899 at Bowling Green, the daughter of Benjamin and Lottie (Pixley) Ries. She was a member of the Chruch of the Nazarene and the Bryan Chapter of the WCTU.
Surviving are a brother, Clayton Ries, of Brea, Calif., and a sister, Miss Almina Ries, of Placentia, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and three sisters.
The body is in the Jack F. Watts Funeral Home where calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. D. L. Huffman officiating. Burial will be in the West View Cemetery at Latty in Paulding County.
