Mr. Harry Wallace Lee, Jr, 81, of Bon Air, VA went to be with his Lord as he was surrounded by his family on March 10, 2013. He was born in Portsmouth, VA.
He graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and received an MBA from the University of Richmond. He worked for 40 years for Reynolds Metals as an engineer, where he held many patents. He loved his work there as both an inventor and innovator in the aluminum beverage can industry.
After retirement, he volunteered at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. He also spent many years crafting handmade wooden grandfather clocks from exotic woods.
He was a devoted member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Richmond where he held many leadership positions.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Nancy Carolyn Turner Lee, two sons David Brian Lee (Laurie) of Sanford, FL and Stephen Scott Lee (Julie) of Goochland, VA and three grandchildren John David Lee, Taylor Elizabeth Lee and Madison Nicole Lee.
Memorial services were held at Centenary United Methodist Church. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond.
Bliley's Funeral Home served the family.
