Mrs. Letha Ann Peters Marlar,
304 Jacksboro Street, died
Wednesday at the Somerset City
Hospital after an illness of four
weeks.

The daughter of the late
James F. and Pearl McKee
Peters, she was born August
11, 1900 at Alpine. She was
married to Thomas Allen Marlar
February 18, 1924 in
McCreary County.

Mrs. Marlar was a member of
the High Street Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Minnie
Jo Lodge No. 723, Ladies
Auxiliary to the Brotherhood
of Railway Trainmen. She was
superintendent of the cradle roll
department and was program
chairman of the WMU of the
High Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband,
one daughter, Wilma Jean
Anderson, Monticello; two sons,
Robert Marlar, and Ralph
Gerald Marlar, both of Springfield,
Ohio; four grandchildren;
the following brothers and
sisters, Archie Peters, Kenneth
Peters, Mayme, Hazel and
Kathleen Peters, and Nellie
Bolin, all of Somerset.

Funeral services will be held
at 3:30 p. m. Friday at the High
Street Baptist Church with the
Rev. Billy J. Turner, officiating.

Burial will be in the Somerset
Cemetery.

Somerset Undertaking Company
in charge of arrangements.
