Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Pastor Maurice "Skeet" Stribling officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Burial will be in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo, Mich.
Mrs. Treakle had worked as a foster grandparent for the state of Michigan.
She was born July 16, 1916, in Mount Pulaski to Ernest Jones and Eva Myrtle "Perigo" Jones-Lowe. She married Harold S. Treakle on May 10, 1946, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Treakle of Las Vegas, Nev., and William Treakle Sr. of Sommerville, Ala.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anna Jean Ballinger of Atlanta and Delores Jordan of Mount Carmel, Tenn.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
She was a member of Atlanta Christian Church, Atlanta.
