named Wetmore Tobacco Company (Charter #49082) in Missouri on July 5,1928 but only
lasted 2 years.
Joint owner with brother Moses C. Wetmore of 1200 acres of oil land in Indiana.
Justin's second wife Harriett E. Winston was the daughter of Henry Ernshaw Winston & Laura Sheringden. Justin & Harriett were married in Manhattan, New York on 5 July 1916. No Issue by Justin & Harriett.

Tobacco Magnate's Brother Dies

Justin John Wetmore,72 years old,who had lived for several months in the
home of Rupert Summers,about 10 miles southwest of Elsberry,died at 11:30p.m.,Tuesday with an attack of pneumonia. The body was brought to the Bradley Mortuary and prepared for burial.

Mr. Wetmore was a brother of the late Colonel Moses C. Wetmore, President of the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company,who amassed a fortune,leaving it in trust to his brother and niece's according to the papers found among the dead man's belongings.

Mr. Wetmore's estranged wife Harriett resides in New York, and his daughter,Mrs. Eunice M. Lindsay lives in Philadelphia. Mr. Wetmore had
been a victim of cancer for several years,but had been cured of the
malady.It is said the condition led to the estrangment.

A telegram was received here Wednesday forenoon advising that the body
be removed to St. Louis. Burial will be made in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
