Alice Mae Nelson, 31, of Keokuk, died at 3:23 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Keokuk Area Hospital.
Born May 29, 1969, in Kirksville, Mo., she was the daughter of Ernest and Deloris Overhulser Branson Sr. She married Dustin Nelson Nov. 25, 1995, in Revere, Mo.
She lived most of her life in Revere. She was a 1987 graduate of Keokuk High School. While attending school in Revere, she participated in band, basketball and FHA.
At Keokuk, her interests included computer club and photography. Her life was centered around her children.
She enjoyed cats, sewing and baking for her children, playing cards and Skip-Bo with Grandma Overhulser.
Survivors include her husband; two children, Joshua and Kourtney Nelson of the home; her parents of Revere; three brothers, Ernest Branson Jr. and Tony Branson, both of Revere, Mo., and Wayne Branson of Hamilton, Ill.; her grandmother, Nelda Overhulser of Wyaconda, Mo.; nine nieces and nephews, three grand-nieces and great-nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
