Agnes J. Noskowiak, age 78, of 3019 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2008, at her residence.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1930, in Antigo, daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Verhasselt) Waldvogel. Agnes was a graduate of Mattoon High School, class of 1948.

On June 16, 1951, she married Frank J. Noskowiak at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Phlox. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 2005.

Agnes was a laundry assistant for many years at the Manitowoc Health Care Center, retiring in 1991.

She was a member of the St. Clare Society of St. Francis of Assisi, and a member of the St. Therese Society of the former St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Agnes was an active volunteer for St. Vincent dePaul Society for many years.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Dan Noskowiak.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton, with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc, from 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Agnes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cards at the senior center, craft work and gardening. Agnes enjoyed volunteering her time and talent.

Mom, you will be greatly missed by all who loved you.
