Veterans Attend Rites for Kline
PHOENIX — Members of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars attended services Wednesday afternoon at the Allanson funeral home for PFC Lewis E. Kline, who died Jan. 18, 1945, in Belgium from wounds suffered in action during the battle of the bulge. The Rev. Manford Williams, pastor of the Sand Ridge Church of Christ officiated and burial was in Sand Ridge cemetery. The soldier is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kline and two brothers and seven sisters.
