When Charles Quincy Archer was born on April 9, 1865, in Henderson, Indiana, his father, George, was 39 and his mother, Mary, was 31. He married Hattie Rosalia Bliss and they had two children together. He then married Marguerite Mae Margaret Ewers and they had four children together. He died on July 25, 1952, in Great Bend, Kansas, at the age of 87, and was buried in Ellinwood, Kansas.
