Esther Marie Nielsen was born May 9, 1917 in Omaha to Carl and Elizabeth Petersen Juul. She moved to Blair during her infancy and had resided in Blair until her death.
She attended Sumner School in her elementary years and graduated from Blair High School.
She married Niels G. Nielsen in Omaha June 17, 1939.
She is survived by her husband, Niels, daughters and son-in-law, Joyce Nielsen, Palm Harbor, Florida and Barbara and Jim Bogan, Phoenix, Arizona; a son and daughter-in-law, John C. and Jacqueline Nielsen, Indianapolis, Indiana; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth and Don VanDyke, Omaha; Anna Petersen, Arlington; Carla Hovendick, Herman; Edna McCambridge, Oregon City, Oregon and brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Juul, Bolivar, Missouri.
Memorials are suggested to Memorial Community Hospital.
