Birth: Aug. 21, 1870
Monroe
Monroe County
Michigan, USA
Death: Nov. 7, 1955
Michigan, USA

After the death of her mother, Marion LaFontaine Curtis, she went to live with her Aunt Julia Ross. She married a boat mail carrier with the name of Marcus Lawson Randall, but the marriage ended in 191l. In 1912 she married Fred C. Phillips, and they adopted her great niece, Marion Preston.

She had a son Charles Randall b 1902 and died 1911. My mother said he died of scarlet fever.

In 2013 I returned to the graves and was unable to locate them as their big stone was missing.(I had visited their graves in 1975) The cemetery manager had to come out to locate the graves. We finally found the footstones which were completely covered with grass. It appears that in much of that section many of the bigger stones were missing while the footstones were left in place. It certainly would facilitate mowing the grass.
