STOKES, CLEDA C. - age 85, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002, at St. Mary's Holston Health Care. Formerly a resident of Island Home Blvd., and Williamsburg Villas. She was a member of South Knoxville Baptist Church, and had worked at Miller's Department Store in the toy and china department for many years. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert H. Stokes. Survivors: son, Robert H. Stokes, III son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Brenda Stokes daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jon Lash brothers, Bill Cox and Jim Cox. sisters, Edith Silvey, Fay Amburn, and Ruby Minge six grandchildren ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday 10 am. at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. www.berryfuneralhome.com
