Albert Wilson 83, of Springfield died at 2:45 p.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital.
He was born Jan. 27, 1909, in Brooklyn, Ky., the son of Dalton W. and H. Alice Renfrow Wilson. He married Edith Augustin in 1930. Preceding him in death were three sisters, including Hazel Hermann, and a brother.
Mr. Wilson was an entomologist at Pillsbury Mills for 42 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Grainmillers Local 24. Surviving are his wife, Edith; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Wanda) Borchelt of Springfield; a son, William of San Jose, Calif.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray of Brooklyn, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Nora Lindsey of Louisville, Ky.; an uncle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Theodore Gall officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
