Roy Eugene "Gene" Boyd
Roy Eugene Boyd was born on December 7, 1948 and passed away at Baptist Hospital in Nashville on January 15, 2008.
Services were held at Phillips & Robinson Funeral Home and is buried in Springhill Cemetery in Madison, Tennessee beside his wife of fourty years and his nephew Mark Travis Caruthers.
He is the oldest son of Arthur Thomas Boyd & his first wife Dorothy E.Smith Boyd McClendon. His father was married four times.

At the age of 19, he married Brenda Faye Caruthers. She was the 15 year old daughter of William Henry Caruthers and Clara Mae Hunt Caruthers of Nashville Tennessee.
