WARREN- Ruth I. Rogers, 74, 1320 Mahoning Ave. N.W., died of cancer at 1:53 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2002, at St. Joseph Health Center.

She was born February 3, 1928, in Warren a daughter of Earl William Gause and Mary L. Wolfe. Formerly of Rensselaer, Ind., she lived in the Warren area most of her life.

Mrr. Rogers had worked at Newbury rubber Co. for seven years, where she was an inspector. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and enjoyed playing bingo, cards and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Rogers of Sharon, Pa., and John (Tina) Rogers of Warren; two daughters, Judy Rogers and Peggy (Joe) Keener of Warren; a stespn, Don Rogers of Warren; daughter-in-law, Vickie Graham of Warren, whom she raised; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Ellis of Warren; and a brother William Gause of West Farmington.

Her first husband, Walter Ulrich, died in 1950 and her second husband, Russell Rogers, died in 1976. A stepson, Leon Rogers; two brothers, Donald and Russell Gause; and four sisters, Marian Hillier, Betty Robinson, Patricia Black and Lois Lew are also deceased.

Friends may call one hour before the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sager Memorial Park in Bristolville.

Material tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society.
