Word was received here yesterday that Mary S. Andrade of Venice, FL and formerly of Plain Street in Taunton died Aug 04, 1999. She was 101. She was the wife of the late Manuel Andrade and the daughter of the late Manuel and Guilhermina DaSilva. Born in Pico, Azores, she died at Harborside Health Center. Mrs. Andrade was educated in Taunton schools and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Joseph's churches in Taunton. She worked from 1949 to 1963 at Texas Instruments in Attleboro. From 1984 to 1991 Mrs. Andrade lived with her daughter in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is survived by a daughter, Josephine Moura of Venice, FL; one son, Daniel Andrade of Houston, TX; a sister, Julia Costa of Somerville; a brother Jaime Silva of Watsonville, CA; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Alfred Andrade of Taunton and the late Evelyn Rose of Hollywood, FL. Visitation will be Saturday at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
