Mrs. Anna Mae was a native and life long resident of Port Barre. She passed away at her home on March 7, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, caring mother, sister, and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Anna Mae was an avid reader who enjoyed games, puzzles, cooking, and baking. She was a sweet kindhearted woman who loved nothing more than being with her family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Keith; two daughters, Paula; and Linda; two sisters, Virginia and Joycelyn; 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Roberts who she was married to for 60 years; her parents, Willie J. Reed, Sr. and Anna LaHaye Reed; two brothers, Herbert Reed and Willie J. Reed, Jr.; and four sisters, Lelia R. Ratelle, Irene Talley, Lilllian Lanclos, and Frances Hatten.
