Nellie was born 27 June 1920 on her uncle Charles Paul's houseboat on the Columbia River running through Portland in Multnomah County, Oregon, daughter of Frederick Dennis Paul and Nora Victoria Morton. Nellie's parents separated in 1923 and divorced later. Nora remarried 4 November 1929 to Eben Albert Ives. They moved from Oregon to Arkansas in June 1930. Nellie was married 27 June 1938 in Yellville, Marion Co., Arkansas, to William Henry Robinson, who was born 13 August 1900 in Medford, Oregon, son of William Henry Robinson, Sr., and Goldie Harvy. He died 24 July 1957 from injuries sustained in a car crash near Litchfield, Illinois. Nellie later married on 13 October 1961 to Chester "Mack" Carrico. He was born 24 December in Avoca, Arkansas, son of Austin Rochester Carrico and Emo Delfia Stone. Nellie Jane Paul and William Henry Robinson children: Robert Henry Robinson, Jimmy Dale Robinson, Shirley Robinson, Jerry Lee Robinson, David Alan Robinson. After Nellie married Mack Carrico, they moved to Portland, Oregon. Mack had been married before and had a son, Mark Carrico, who lived with the family. Mack Carrico and Nellie had one child: Chester Lee "Chet" Carrico II.
