May the memory of this wonderful man, live forever in our hearts...

This poem is; as I imagined, in my head; a conversation between Eddie and God.

"Years ago, I asked, Why am I with Thee O' Lord, when on earth, I could have done more?"

"That my Son, was not my plan, I needed an Honest, Loyal, Loving Man; to sit by my side and watch from above, to shelter and protect, the ones you love.

Yours is the face, with the smile so bright and when it's their time, it's You, they'll see in the light.

You'll take their hand and they'll have no fear; they'll follow you faithfully, when their time is near.

You'll guide them through the fear and doubt and at the end of the light, when you bring them out; that's when you'll see, we'll all be together, You, your loved ones and me

That my Son, is what I had in mind, when I took you before, you thought it was time."

" Thank you Lord, for putting my question to rest, I understand now and will do my best; I will bring them to You and we'll sit at your knee; together, forever; my loved ones and me."
