Eva R. Manges 91, Jerome, formerly of Central City, died Aug. 19, 2011 at In Touch Hospice House of Journey's Rest, Somerset. Born Aug. 12. 1920 in Shade Twp. daughter of Charles and Margaret (Sivits) Rankin.
Preceded in death by parents, husband Maurice V. Manges, son Ricky Lee, and brothers Charles, Billy, and Donald Rankin; sisters, Doris Bloom, Jean Dively and Betty Lehman; and special sister-in-law, Eva K. (Manges) Rankin.
Survived by children: Debra married to Duane Novotny, Cresson, and Lee married to the former Theresa Sesack, Pittsburgh; Grandchildren, B.J. Mihelcic and wife, Lisa; Renae (Mihelcic) married to Thomas Tear; Holly (Manges) married to Darren Jones; and Lauralee (Manges) married to Jamison Ferriell; great-grandchildren, Emily Mihelcic, Jacob and Maggie Tear and Ashlyn Ferriell. Sister of Margaret Cole, Scottdale. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was an Avon representative for over 40 years in the Central City area. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown. Former member of the Central City and Somerset County Fireman's Auxiliaries. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown and again from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown, the Rev. David Letscher officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to "In Touch" Hospice, P.O. Box 1173, Somerset, PA 15501 in memory of Mrs. Manges.
