Laura was the eldest daughter of James and Isabella Robinson Campbell of Ashland and Jefferson Counties. She married Titus Beck on 5 March 1868 in Ashland County, and they had 13 children with 12 surviving including Allie (1869), Allen Ranford (1870), Myrtle (1871), George (1874), Mattie (1876), Ida (1877), John (1879), Walter (1884), Verah (1886), Benson (1887), Orlie (1892), and Hazel (1894). Laura died from apoplexy at the age of 68 years 6 months and 10 days.
