Vern Angstrom
Funeral services were held at the Wilbur Community church Sunday afternoon for Vernon Angstrom, 43, Stevens county farmer. The Reverend Dr. Norman K. Tully of Davenport was officiating minister.
Mr. Angstrom collapsed as a result of a blood clot last Wednesday at his home. His wife and son started to Davenport with him after calling Dr. E. R. Salter. When Dr. Salter met the car about seven miles north of town, Angstrom had died.
A native of Lincoln county, Mr. Angstrom was reared near Wilbur. He moved to Stevens county, to farm a few years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Gertrude; son Edward, at the home; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia McElroy of Spokane; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Angstrom of Wilbur; a sister, Mrs. Inez Miller, and two brothers, Floyd and Robert, all Wilbur.
The Bumgarner Funeral Home was in charge.
