Cleopatra Woods, age 92, of Alcoa, went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2013. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Woods; parents, Arthur and Rachel Westfield; sisters, Ola Phillips (Charleston, Tenn.), Hattie Lattimore (Charleston, Tenn.) and Lillian Brooks (Chattanooga, Tenn.); brothers, Albert Westfield (Louisville, Ky.), Elbert Westfield (Cleveland, Ohio), Raymond Westfield (Charleston, Tenn.), Joseph Westfield (Charleston, Tenn.), James Westfield (Cleveland, Tenn.); and grandson, Eric Anthony (Alcoa). Survivors include her daughters, Judy Anthony, Cynthia Miller (Louisville, Ky.), and Natalie Woods; sons, Tommy Woods (Deborah) of Louisville, Ky., Larry Woods (Pat) of Concord, N.C.; great-grandchild, Rev. Nachia Woods (Louisville, Ky.) whom she raised; and a devoted family friend, Bryan Garner. She has 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. at Rest Haven Baptist Church, 224 E. Watt St., Alcoa. Interment to follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Alcoa. The family will receive friends one half-hour prior to the service at the church. The remains may be viewed after noon Tuesday at Foothills Funeral Home, 910 E. Lincoln Road, Maryville, and Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church, http://www.foothillsfuneralhome.com
