Myrtle Flowers Walters, 77, widow of Harry D. Walters, died Thursday (August 21, 1986) in a Georgetown hospital.

The funeral will be at 5 p.m. today in Suttons United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home of Kingstree, will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Walters was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Robert Flowers and Isabell Blakely Flowers. She was a member of Suttons church and its Women's Society of Christian Service.

Surviving are three sons, T. D. Walters, Douglas Walters, and Harry R. Walters, all of Andrews; two daughters, Barbara W. Hurst of Florence and Harrriet W. Powell of Andrews; five sisters, Corrie Lee Moree of Andrews and Llian (sic) Wright, Nyrah Fowler and Bessie Wilson, all of Lancaster, and Mary Sue Roach of Heath Springs; two brothers, Horace Flowers of Lancaster and Walter Flowers of Savannah; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
