Helen Marie Fosko, 84, of Paducah died at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Lourdes hospital.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Western Baptist Hospital. Helen was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, Kentucky Board of Nursing, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Joseph "Joe" Bernard Fosko and wife Jan of Paducah; daughter, Brenda Marie and husband Ted Coreau of Paducah; sisters, Clara Riley Miller of Moline, Ill., Judy Boyer of Festus, Mo., and Audia Meunier of Paducah; grandchildren, Joey Fosko, Mike Fosko, Ted Coreau Jr. and Tommy Coreau; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Lee Fosko; her parents, James "Jim" Andrew Riley and Myrtle Clark Riley ; son, Michael Lee Fosko; sister, Betty Shelton; brothers, Rupert Edward Riley, James"Chuck" Riley and William "Bill" Riley.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Frank Roof officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Friends may call after noon Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
