Wilma J. Collins who was 80 yrs. old passed away Monday March 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Connersville and her parents were Tony and Minnie Cornett Ervine.

She was a 1946 graduate of Connersville High School where she was on the National Honor Society. She worked a McQuay Norris for several years. She had been a Kitchen Manager at the Moose Lodge. She also worked in home health care and cared for children. She enjoyed watching the First United Methodist Church on tv and watching I.U. and Indiana Pacer basketball. She also enjoyed cooking and watching her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters Carolyn (Dorwin) Ponsler, Linda (Charles) Reeve of Connersville; a son David Collins of Connersville; three sisters Frances (Claude) Pope, Sharon Sturgis of Connersville and Donna (Norman) Williamson of Jeffersonville; four Grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, a daughter Phyllis Jean Collins Goodson, and infant son Thomas Keith Collins and two sisters Ruby Hobbs and Phyllis Fish precede her in death
