CARTER - BEAZLEY - At 8 o'clock Wednesday at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary Hudson Beazley, Miss Mary S. Beazley and Mr. J. Nevin Carter were pronounced husband and wife by Rev. J. W. Hagin in an impressive ceremony. Dr. A. S. Price and Miss Kate Beazley, sister of the bride, were the attendants, and quite a crowd of neighbors and friends were present to shower congratulations and good wishes on the happy young couple. The bride and maid were both handsomely attired and they both showed to their best advantage. The bride is a petite brunette, highly accomplished and is one of Lincoln county's most popular and cultured young ladies. She is a daughter of the late E. B. Beazley, who was one of the most progressive farmers in this section. Mr. Carter is a fine young man, morally and otherwise, and is a most substantial citizen. Besides being an excellent farmer, he has served Uncle Sam very creditably as storkeeper-guager, and in fact does well whatever he attempts. The parlor was beautifully decorated with evergreens and flowers and brilliantly illuminated for the happy occasion. The bride entered on the arm of her brother, Morgan Beazley, who gave her to the fortunate man who now calls her wife. The wedding over, the newly made pair, accompanied by many of the guests, drove to Mr. P. W. Carter's, father of the groom, where a delighful reception was held. An elegant supper was enjoyed and all had a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are now at home to their friends at his home near Turnersville, where their many friends hope happiness will always attend them. The Interior Journal, which holds both of them in very high esteem, joins their hosts of friends in wishing them a long and happy life and the best of eveything a-going.
