The funeral of Chester Pickett, who died Saturday at Bluefield, W, Va., was conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Presbyterian Church, by the pastor, Rev. Melton Clark. Interment followed in Green Hill cemetery. A large crowd of sorrowing friends attended the funeral and interment and many beautiful floral trubutes were placed upon the grave. Pallbearers were members of S. Clay Williams's Sunday school class, of which the deceased was once a member.
